The intent here is not necessarily to promote the views of Alex Jones here. On the other hand, I won’t offer the disclaimer that the views presented here are not that of this author. In fact, there are more than a few things we agree about. Alex has produced quite a number of documentary films over the years. Some of his early work is a little on the rough side. Alex has roots in cable access television, and some of the early pieces do have that look.
I have to say that his recent stuff is very well produced. In fact, it’s give the work of Michael Moore a run for his money any day. I suspect if Jones had the budget of Moore earlier in his career, the shift surely would have happened earlier. No doubt there are some out there that may be offended in some way by this. I dare say that even if you dislike the message, you can’t discount the production work.

Alex Jones is certainly well known here in Austin Texas. I’ve also seen Alex in a couple of full length motion pictures – one picture in particular as a voice over which I think he was just perfect for the part. Alex certainly has a message he is trying to get out but perhaps his presentation detracts from his message. Nonetheless his message is important and keeps people on their toes. I do agree that big business has way too much power but I don’t think Obama is facilitating the “New World Order.” One example is his moratorium on off shore drilling. I honestly think he did that “for the people” and took an incredible amount of flack from the oil industry for his actions – I don’t think Bush would have done that. Perhaps we would have a much better results if we had an all democratic Congress but many of Obama’s initiatives are stalled out by the republicans. On top of that Obama is trying to correct years of mismanagement from the Bush people. Although Obama is not perfect, I don’t think he is the devil. My head spins with all the conflict surrounding health care in America. Roger Moore made a great movie contrasting the different health care systems around the world. England and France have wonderful health care system with their people paying relatively nothing for health care. Why is it in a country such as the United States that we cannot offer inexpensive health care to its people. I cite my mother’s plight – a woman on Social Security who was at the time paying half her Social Security benefits to pay her prescription medications bill. Great for the pharmaceutics industry but was devastating to my mother. She was paying more in medication costs than in rent for her small apartment. Obama set out to change this and for one, I appreciate the gesture.
