Episode Eleven of A Pixelriffic Podcast
This one goes to eleven! Sorry, but I just couldn't stop myself. I'd actually pondered whether to release this one, or do another episode. While this particular rambling is Vegas specific, some of the info will apply to almost any video editing application.
Vegas was originally produced by Sonic Foundry, and acquired by Sony about two years ago. Thankfully, Sony has only served to improve Vegas Video.

I am enjoying your podcasts very much. However, I'm not the videographer in the family but my sister is. She has been wanting to shoot her own movies and post them on the Internet. After I listen to your podcast I send them to her. She has not listened to a single podcast yet. She has some stories written and ready to shoot. She will not go beyond that point. I can't find a way to motivate her. She does have actors willing to work so I have to imagine it is a confidence issue. I thought your podcasts would help. Would you have any suggestions to help her go out and turn the written page to video?
